Henri Cartier-Bresson exhibit
Totally unrelated to anything else here, but I am very much looking forward to a retrospective exhibition of one of my favorite photographers, Henri Cartier-Bresson. He had a sense of composition and timing that was simply so perfect, most of us who pick up a camera can only remotely aspire to it.
The exhibit is in Chicago now, but coming to San Francisco in a few months. The NY MOMA site has most of the exhibition online, but like seeing a great movie on large screen, seeing the actual print close up is still the best way of experiencing the image.
